Dave Scharfenberger has been appointed to the advisory board of the Arboricultural program for Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids.

This winter’s extended snow cover has certainly created challenges for doing tree pruning and removal work.

For the past four years Wachtel staff and family members have donated their time on a Saturday to help maintain the grounds of the Milwaukee Ronald McDonald House.  This past fall a tree at risk of falling was removed, trees and shrubs pruned and two trees donated by Johnson Nursery were planted.   Ronald McDonald House is dedicated to easing the burden of families whose lives have been disrupted as a result of their child's illness or injury.  Visit www.rmhcmilwaukee.org  for more information on this important community resource.
