More Award-Winning Work!

Spring 2004 Newsletter in Adobe PDF format Wachtel Tree Science & Service, Inc. has won its second Grand Award in the Excellence in Arboriculture Program. At this time Wachtel is the only tree care company in Wisconsin to have won any Excellence in Arboriculture awards.

Excellence is the lifeblood of any profession. In the commercial arboriculture profession, exemplary customer service and unwavering dedication to high quality tree maintenance define excellence.

Wachtel distinguished itself in the fall of 2003 by again being selected as one of 19 winners worldwide of the 2003 Excellence in Arboriculture Award. We won the only Grand Award presented this year for a project at the Mayerson residence in River Hills.

The goal of the project was to improve the health, beauty and usefulness of this 5-acre residential property. The carefully planned and executed project included extensive buckthorn removal, pruning of long-neglected trees and an infusion of planting that created a beautiful space. Now the family can enjoy a park-like setting in what had previously been an overgrown and unsafe area.

Now in its ninth year, the National Arborist Association Excellence in Arboriculture program recognizes and celebrates commercial arborist firms that have demonstrated excellence in their work. This is our second Grand Award and we are the only Wisconsin company to have won an Excellence in Arboriculture Award.
