Winter 2012-Safety Rules

arborist newsletter

Ninety percent of the nation’s 300 million residents have cell phone accounts. The National Safety Council has called for a nationwide ban on cell phone use while driving, a prohibition opposed by the industry. “Studiesshow that driving while talking on a cell phone is extremely dangerous and puts drivers at a four times greater risk of a crash,” said Janet Froetscher, the council’s president and CEO.

Our company is a leader in our industry in many
areas including safety. Our crews follow industry safety
rules, wearing protective equipment such as hard hats,
eye and ear protection, maintaining equipment properly
and taking great care to protecting your property each
and every time we are there.
We also do not talk on cell phones while driving.
We ask for your patience and understanding when
you make a call to a Wachtel Tree Science employee cell
phone and receive a voice message. We may be driving
safely and will call you back when it’s safe to do so.
