Wachtel welcomes two new employees.

Peter Gailans is a 2007 graduate of University of Minnesota with a degree in Ecology. He was a naturalist with the WI-DNR before coming to Wachtel.

More additions to our families:

This fall and early winter have been very busy for some of the Wachtel family! We have three future arborists:

  • On 8-25, Ron and Julie Gumz had a baby boy, Parker Henry, 7 lbs.
  • On 11-5, Ben and Christee Reince had a baby girl, Virginia Mae, 8 lbs. 15 oz.
  • On 1-6, Darin and Bridget Schmuki had a baby boy, Matthew Thomas, 8 lbs. 8 oz.

Angie’s List Super Service Award!

We are now two-time winners after receiving the Super Service Award again in 2008! Our crews work hard to give good service. Thank you for giving us the recognition.

Congratulations!

Ben Reince became a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP). This is a program from the Tree Care Industry Association allowing key employees to become safety experts. Ben is using his skills to reduce accidents and create a culture of safety at Wachtel. As of the end of January, we have gone 946 days without a lost time accident!
