Governor Evers’ “safer at home” order issued on 3/24/20 allows tree care companies to continue working as long as the employees follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for maintaining a safe workplace.
At Wachtel Tree Science, the health and well-being of our clients and employees is our top priority. With the continued and ever-changing news about COVID-19, we wanted to share important information about how our team is working to ensure your tree care is handled appropriately.
The owners of our company have directed all employees to follow the recommended workplace strategies outlined by the CDC and other health authorities. We are also closely monitoring workforce changes to safeguard against interruption in your service.
To that extent, our Arborist upon arrival to the worksite may call you instead of knocking on your door. If they do knock, they will have gloves on. Should you choose to speak to them in person, the Arborist will practice social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines. Social distancing is critical to keeping all of us safe, please don’t be offended if we ask you to maintain the recommended 6-foot distance when communicating with our staff.
While we implement these changes, please know our commitment to you as our client remains the same. We remain dedicated to the well-being of your families and our employees during this time, please do not hesitate to call or email us with any questions you may have about new procedures or to discuss your tree care needs.
