How Did You Get Your Start at Wachtel Tree Science and Why Did You Choose Wachtel as Your Employer?
I graduated from UW Whitewater a semester early and didn’t have a solid plan for what I wanted to do, so I started searching for every type of field job and came across arboriculture and realized it was something I had a lot of passion for. Wachtel was the first place I applied for and interviewed at, and I immediately felt a connection to the culture here and knew it was the right place for me.
What Do You Like Best About Working at Wachtel Tree Science?
I love the sense of family we have here and I always have fun working even if the day or the job is a challenge.
I also appreciate the flexibility in scheduling that we have while still being able to put in a full work week.
What Advice/Tips Do You Have for Aspiring Tree Care Professionals?
Always triple check your work and strive to do what you’re most passionate about!
Hobbies and Interests:
I enjoy hiking and kayaking, and a spend a lot of summer weekends out of the state going to tractor pulls with my husband and father-in-law.
