I think my best area of expertise is large removals. I do enjoy doing pruning and planting work as well and my experience helps me excel in running most types of equipment.
Industry Related Volunteer Work:
I volunteer every year at the Wisconsin Arborist Association Climbing Competition as the head judge for the the ascent event.
I also had the privilege of helping at Saluting Branches, an initiative that involves caring for trees on veteran cemeteries, this past year.
I have also helped with Kid’s Climb events and as an volunteer instructor in local industry classes.
How Did You Get Your Start at Wachtel Tree Science and Why Did You Choose Wachtel as Your Employer?
I started at Wachtel Tree Science in December of 2021 after talking with several friends that had worked here. I chose Wachtel because I know the company values their employees and safety is the priority above everything else. What I like best about Wachtel Tree Science is the culture and work environment the company has created. Their continuous push to be better as a company and to have each employee be the best they can be. Their willingness to help in the industry through volunteer work and helping others.
What Advice/Tips Do You Have for Aspiring Tree Care Professionals?
Come to work every day willing to help your crew/team out. Be willing to take direction/advise from others and be willing to push yourself in the right situations to grow as an arborist and as a person.

- Spending time with my wife and two kids
