I love teaching Wildlife and Forestry terminology, identification, concepts and practices to 4-H youth locally and around the state. I also help with other 4-H activities when I can.
How Did You Get Your Start at Wachtel Tree Science and Why Did You Choose Wachtel as Your Employer?
I started at Wachtel as an intern while at MATC. They were my top pick of companies to work for, because of good words from classmates and instructors, as well as evidence of prioritizing the tradition of quality work.
What Do You Like Best About Working at Wachtel Tree Science?
Being encouraged to always do the best work, and train others to do so as well.
What Advice/Tips Do You Have for Aspiring Tree Care Professionals?
Learn to do it the right way. Work really hard but don’t stress when things aren’t going to your own plan. Trust in God and His wise plans.
Hobbies and Interests:
I have several pet chickens yet, also a goose – they’re so much fun to have around when gardening! I enjoy tinkering with machines, whether a bicycle, my motorcycle or a chainsaw. Hiking, camping and other outdoor activities keep me and my friends busy year-round.
