First Annual Wachtel Tree Science University

At Wachtel Tree Science, we consistently make it a point to pursue ongoing education within our company. In previous years, this has been achieved by attending multiple company-wide winter meetings with the ultimate goal of improved safety procedures, interdepartmental communication, and innovation in all parts of the company. This year we did something a little different by launching the 1st annual Wachtel Tree Science University; a two-day educational conference that followed a curriculum focusing on all facets of Wachtel’s ongoing educational concerns, in addition to a little family fun!

The first day of Wachtel University’s curriculum covered a method to analyze how or why incidents occur, driver safety, and company communication improvement through personality analysis. The evening concluded with some fun events for all staff and family, including a movie showing and a “paint along” with the help of the art instructors at Uptown Art. The second day of “class” covered Red Cross training, client service training, department updates, and a presentation by our safety committee. Overall, Wachtel University was a huge success for all involved.

We look forward to implementing everything we learned throughout this year and can’t wait to do it again for the 2nd annual Wachtel Tree Science University.
