I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Forestry from UW-Stevens Point in 2009. After graduation, I spent two years performing tree care in Aspen, Colorado. I had a great experience living/working in the mountains, but ultimately decided that my home is in southeastern Wisconsin. I continued my arboricultural career at Wachtel Tree Science upon returning to Wisconsin in 2011.
My personal life revolves around being a husband, and father to a young son and daughter. I do have hobbies when I find the time, such as fishing, hiking, and playing guitar. I am also a big fan of live music and try to catch shows of local musicians with my wife when we can.
I believe trees are part of our landscape to admire, enjoy, and take in all the benefits they provide us. My approach to tree management is to be an advocate for the trees. I strive to provide our clients with the “big picture” information to help them make an informed decision that’s best for them.
