I began my experience in the environmental science field during high school in 2002 while working for the City of Cedarburg in their Parks and Forestry department. I continued working there during my time at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geography. Following graduation, I worked in the Parks and Forestry department for the City of Wauwatosa until I began working as an Arborist for Wachtel Tree Science. During this past decade, I have worked as an arborist, plant health care technician, client service representative, and sales arborist.
In addition to looking at trees all day, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Katie, and our 7-year-old shepherd mix, Otis. The three of us enjoy hiking and camping together all over the state. My wife and I also love traveling to see our favorite bands play concerts at different venues across the country and last, but certainly not least, I absolutely love the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go!
I believe communication is the most important factor in providing the best tree care possible as well as meeting the needs of our clients. Honesty and integrity are the two qualities that I feel are essential, not only to provide excellent client service, but in life in general.
