With a deep-rooted passion for trees and the outdoors, my journey began at UW Waukesha studying Wildlife before transferring to UW Stevens Point to pursue Forestry. My love for tree biology led me to add an Urban Forestry major, setting the foundation for a career dedicated to understanding and caring for trees. After gaining hands-on experience with the City of Stevens Point, I explored the private tree care industry and joined Wachtel Tree Science, where I have thrived for the past nine years. My expertise spans plant health care, insect and disease management, and leading pruning and removal crews during winter seasons.
Growing up in Southeast Wisconsin, I enjoy exploring the region’s natural beauty. Me and my husband share a love for travel and exploring new natural areas with our two dogs. Whether it’s summer trails or winter landscapes, I embrace outdoor hobbies year-round.
My approach to tree care is client-focused and science-driven. I believe every tree is unique and requires a tailored solution. By identifying root causes rather than applying one-size-fits-all treatments, I prioritize sustainable practices while ensuring trees receive the care they need to thrive.
